Royal Irish platoon ambushed helmet cam, Helmand province 2010.

2010 Soldiers of B Company, 1st Battalion The Royal Irish Regiment, dealing with an insurgent ambush in Helmand in October 2010, close to the start of Operation HERRICK 13.
At the 2011 Military Awards, the Duchess of Cambridge presented the Platoon Commander, Sgt Ryan McCready, with the award for being the UK's 'Most Outstanding Soldier'.

They're technically a part of the insurgency. The ambush was set by the counterinsurgents. They're not in Northern Ireland.
