Deadly use of force in Hartford was justified, States attorney. A report from the state’s attorney has concluded that the deadly use of force from an officer-involved shooting that happened last July in Hartford was justified.

The shooting happened on July 26 on an on-ramp leading to I-84. The Hartford Police Crimes Unit was on a routine patrol and tried to stop a car in the area of Park Terrace, during a criminal investigation.

The driver of the car, later identified as 41-year-old Alphonso Zaporta of Windsor, fled from officers, heading toward the I-84 on-ramp from Capitol Avenue. Police said the car came to a stop due to ongoing construction traffic, as well as a stop stick deployment.

That’s when officers approached the car. Police said Zaporta got out of the car, violently attacked them, and gained control of an officer’s gun. That’s when Zaporta was shot and killed.

Always a good result if a piece of shite is deleted rather than imprisoned. Saves so much time, effort and expense.

"There are no concrete statistics on fatal shootings by law enforcement officers in Canada, though the range has been estimated to be between 15 and 25 per year.[1][2] Statistics Canada only tracks fatal police shootings if an officer is criminally charged.[3]" Maybe this is why Canadians feel superior about their law enforcement. It always helps when statistics are skewed due to incomplete tracking, not to mention not having to deal with the high numbers of animals that US cops are forced to deal with day in and day out. Considering their circumstances officer involved shootings in the US are amazingly low.

This is the shit US cops deal with hundreds of times a day in the toilets they serve in. Maybe they should only be allowed to use harsh language, right? https://leakreality.com/video/106247/machete-wielding-man-fatally-shot-by-police-in-l-a
