Public Information Officer Jason Powell said two deputies were making a routine traffic stop in the Samantha community when they realized the driver was one of Tuscaloosas Most Wanted.

\\ owell said the deputies were attempting to arrest the suspect when he tried to flee and ending up dragging the deputies with his car.

Both deputies were taken to DCH Regional Hospital in Tuscaloosa to be checked out. Powell said they are both expected to be fine.Investigators say Hunter Waldrop, 25, faces a series of charges in connection with Fridays incident.

Cops were too relaxed, they should have had the same mindset as jet pilots who say to themselves before takeoff "Todays the day I'm gonna have to eject".............With cops it should be "Todays the day somebody is gonna try to kill me"

Weird attire - look more like special needs "helpers" from a Home Depot store than Police Officers. Is this really their official uniform - Something which at first glance looks like Blue Dungarees with white/yellow qwriting? No disrespect aimed at the LEOs - just a really grim looking uniform for them to have to wear. No head protection either for some reason.

You are flying the U.S. flag. Is that correct for where you live? I only ask because I've seen you ask many questions in the past that most people living here would not ask. Not being nasty or anything, just curious.....
