The posts below on retirement have stirred one of the biggest things on my mind for over 10 years.

Me, I'm really in a pickle about retirement:

On one hand I can't wait to get out of my main business - and have wanted to since around 2006.
On the other hand I'll miss the challenges.

In 2005 and a few years prior I did plan a subsequent business that would have been rewarding (had to do with unwanted pets and bored seniors in a farm-like setting) but I abandoned that project (among other reasons) mainly due to overly-litigious idiots and the lawyers who feed on them.

I won't face the "now what do I do?" question for at least 2 years but it does add to my insomnia.

I don't even know why I'm ranting to you but that did feel good to type it out.....

What are you doing with your time other than LR and building fireplaces?  ;)

Nothing special.
Just the daily routine.
A ship without crew on bridge is lost.

Been enjoying your outdoor fireplace?
I just browsed through some of the comments here and I see the weather there is warmer than usual.  That will probably change soon though so keep stocked up on wood.
We got down to the mid 30's the other day (BRRRRR!) but it looks like my peppers survived it.
